Job Advert Description:

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Designer to work in our Design team in our Shoreditch Head Office.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Designer to join an established and successful design team. You will be working on Wovens to create, visualise and deliver outstanding Oasis product design and aesthetics.

 

About The Role

The Assistant Designer will be working closely with the Design Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department by providing technical assistance and creative support to the team.

You will develop the Senior Designers sketches and spec these in line with a set design brief to create a capsule collection from start to finish. You will also be responsible for the following; 

  • Collecting inspirational tears for mood boards and contributing ideas
  • Working towards researching inspiration that is in line with the Oasis brand
  • Producing boards for the season and ensuring they are up to date
  • Ensure all processes are running according to the critical path, and trend summary and colours are ready for Far East trips
  • Liasing with factories on all developments

 

Experience & Skills Necessary

  • Proactive and reactive to changing priorities
  • Able to influence at all levels 
  • Flexible approach
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience of Photoshop/Illustrator would be preferred but not essential
  • Previous design experience, preferably within a Wovens department
