The Retouch Manager manages the in-house team of retouchers as well as freelancers and supports the Photographic Production Manager ensuring all business requirements are met

They are responsible for overseeing and signing off all post - production across the Oasis and Warehouse websites, Ecommerce and creative, model and still life. Ensuring top quality imagery is being produced and quality and consistency is maintained and followed by all other retouchers

This role reports to the Photographic Production Manager

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures the team is delivering all in-house post production, content and third-party marketplace shoots (i.e. Next Label) across both Oasis and Warehouse
  • Managing the retouch team, scheduling the retoucher’s daily workflow and ensuring deadlines are met and post production is done to the highest standard
  • When required, retouching of in-house imagery. Colour correcting of model and mannequin images to ensure all sets of images are cohesive
  •  
  • Deal with queries regarding deadlines, image locations, urgent requests, alignment, coding issues
  •  
  • Communicating with the brands on retouch notes and requirements for creative shoots. Re-negotiating   deadlines where necessary
  •  
  • Quality checking of images, requesting re-shoots and darker/lighter images where necessary. Suggesting improvements to styling and photography to improve efficiency within retouch and improve quality of imagery
  •  
  • QC all folders to ensure all images are of the highest possible standard
  •  
  • Delegate tasks to the Senior Retoucher and Team Leader
  •  
  • Train and motivate the team, ensuring they are up to speed with the latest programs and techniques
